"Um ," Morning began his own ears flicking back in embarrassment. "Would you be mate?" He blurted out like a guilty child. He had closed his eyes and was now peaking one open his shoulders gathered higher with a small grin upon his ebony lips. He smiled flicking his ears back and forth nervously. What if she said no? What if she didn't like him? He pushed rising panic down and waited for an answer.

Morningglory would trot up his soft brown eyes gazing at the rows and rows of dolls. Spotting the pony doll section he eyed one that bore his exact golden hued coat and ebony mane. Looking up at Poppyhoof he pointed at a golden-red pony with a black mane and tail - it almost looked as if it would have been born of a golden pelted pony and a brown pelted pony - "May I have that one?" His nicker was tainted with a softness that went only to his mate.

Morningglory trotted along a leaf scattered path not used much because of the obstacles that lay in the path. Breaking into a lope the stallion made a jump for a log. He froze mid-jump at the sight of the unconscious tom. He eyed something in the trees - big and brown - that was moving away from the cat. Falling flat on his face from lack attention to landing his jump he trotted over to Lightlore. "Hey are you ok?" He asked prodding the feline with his ears back. He just hoped the cat was ok.
